Combo & Bostadsregistret AB, 559321–6152, Gamlestadsvägen 18 A 415 02 Göteborg (‘Combo’, ‘us’ or ‘we’) are committed to protecting your personal privacy and ensuring that your personal data is safeguarded during any processing of personal information. The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with applicable data protection regulations. You can visit our website without having to provide any personal data or accept cookies. In cases where personal data is processed or cookies are accepted, the following section describes how we collect, process, and share personal data, as well as your rights regarding your personal information. Our contact details can be found below.
A large part of our communication takes place through the platform Combo (‘the Platform’), which involves the processing of personal data. We collect your personal data when a landlord or property owner registers you on the Platform. We may also supplement your personal data by obtaining information from private or public records and sources. You are under no obligation to provide us with your personal data. However, without your personal data, we may not be able to fulfil our obligations, as we would be unable to carry out, for example, credit and anti-money laundering checks. The collection and processing of personal data also takes place within Combo’s operations, including in interactions with suppliers and other external parties. The personal data we process may include contact details such as name, title, address, phone number and email address, identification information such as passport details and personal identification number and financial information such as bank account numbers, creditworthiness, tax information, and other banking details. When processing sensitive data, we obtain your consent.
We process personal data in order to fulfil our obligations and safeguard the interests of Platform users, manage the administration of the Platform and comply with legal requirements. Personal data is also processed to enable us to manage and administer relationships with suppliers and other external parties. In addition, we may use personal data as a basis for market and client analysis, business and method development, statistical purposes, risk management, and for marketing purposes.
The legal basis for processing personal data is the necessity to fulfil contractual obligations. In relation to representatives, partners, consultants, foreign agents, witnesses, counterparties, opposing representatives and others, Combo's processing of personal data is generally based on a legitimate interest assessment. This means we consider the processing necessary for purposes related to your or, where applicable, Combo’s legitimate interests and that these interests outweigh any conflicting interests or fundamental rights and freedom.
The processing of personal data by Combo in connection with the archiving of documents after a contract has been terminated or otherwise concluded is based on our obligation to comply with legal requirements, such as those found in accounting and anti-money laundering legislation. Processing of personal data relating to suppliers, their representatives, and other external parties is based on Combo’s legitimate interest in managing the relationship and fulfilling our contractual obligations. When we process personal data for the purpose of analyzing and developing our business and for marketing communication, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in improving and promoting our operations.
We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect the personal data processed by Combo against, among other things, loss and unauthorized access. We enter into necessary data processing agreements with any external parties who will process your personal data. Transfers of data outside the EU/EEA are carried out in accordance with applicable data protection regulations. Such transfers are generally based on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions, where applicable.
Combo may transfer personal data outside the EU/EEA if:
We do not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purposes of the processing, unless the data must or may be stored for a longer period in accordance with the law. Personal data is stored as long as you are registered on the Platform. This means the data will be stored for at least ten years from the date the agreement or obligation is fulfilled, or longer if the nature of the agreement requires it.
We are the data controller for the processing of personal data described above. You have the right to know which of your personal data we process. You also have the right to request that inaccurate or incomplete data be corrected, or that we delete your data if, for example, it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or if you withdraw your consent.
You also have the right to object to certain processing of your personal data and to request that the processing be restricted. Finally, you have the right to receive the personal data you have provided to us in a machine-readable format and to transfer it to another data controller (data portability). A request for restriction or deletion may mean that we are unable to fulfil our obligations.
If you have objections or concerns about how we process personal data, you have the right to contact or file a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten), which is the supervisory authority for our data processing.
If you have any questions or complaints about how we handle personal data, or if you wish to exercise your rights as described above, you are welcome to contact us through one of the contact channels listed below.
